If there is a weather-related cancellation, late opening or early
closing, the College will place a message in the following places:

- WZMX - 93.7 FM
- WRCH - 100.5 FM

Keep in mind that Capital Community College cancellations, etc, may differ from Hartford
K-12 school systems. Capital Community College faculty and staff will receive a system-wide
voice mail message regarding weather-related closings or cancellations.
If closed or delayed openings are not publicized on
television,
on the radio,
or on our website, we are
OPEN
and classes are being held as normally scheduled.
Are My Classes Cancelled?
In the event of cancellations, late openings, or early dismissals,
here's how you can tell if your class will be meeting on that day.
| If there is a 1 hour delay |

Classes that normally begin before 9:00am are cancelled and 9:00am classes will begin and end at their regularly scheduled time.

| If there is a 2 hour delay |
|
Classes that normally begin before 10:00am are cancelled and 10:00am classes will begin and end at their regularly scheduled time.

| If all morning classes are cancelled |
|
Classes that normally begin before 11:30am are cancelled and 11:30am classes will begin and end at their regularly scheduled time. |
| If all afternoon and evening classes are cancelled |
All classes that normally begin at 1:00pm or later are cancelled. |
| If all evening classes are cancelled |
All classes that normally begin at 4:00pm or later are cancelled. |
| If there is an early dismissal |
An announcement will be made by 2:00pm.
All remaining day, afternoon, and evening classes for that day are cancelled.
