Instructions This Review and Practice exercise is an opportunity for you to test your understanding of what you have studied in Chapter 10: Final -ed. Remember the student essay on karate whose opening and closing paragraphs you worked with at the beginning of this chapter. The writer of this essay used the simple past tense to establish the time of the events, and -ed endings appeared on verbs and past participles wherever they were needed.
