Instructions This Review and Practice exercise is an opportunity for you to test your understanding of what you have studied in Chapter 9: Run-on Sentences. You may separate independent clauses with a period and a capital letter, connect independent clauses with a conjunction or a semicolon, embed a clause using a dependent word, or change a clause to an embedded verbal or verbal phrase.
