Last Friday, my friend and I went to UConn to pick up one of our friends to come back home for the
weekend. We left home at about six o'clock and got there about half an hour later. When we entered
the building, we heard the music playing so loud I
thought they were having some kind of party. We went up to my friend's room and saw them playing a
Nintendo game. Most of the students go back home for the weekend but there were still many students
that live too far away from home to keep going back and forth that they must like
staying in the dorm. After a while, we went to the student union to shoot some pool. It was fun
while it lasted. We made a team of two and bet on each other. Whoever lost more games
had to pay for the table. It was fun for us because we shot them out for the first three games. It must
be because we were not afraid of losing and played however we felt like it, while the other team
was arguing with each others for not making an easy shot. We played eleven games and won eight games and they were about to close the room in about half an
hour. So I said to them we will play one more game and this time whoever
loses will pay. This time I had no idea what went wrong with my team; we suddenly couldn't make a shot. I thought, well,
they just got lucky on their last chance. They were so happy to beat us and laughed their head off because
we had won so many games and I had to set up a stupid rule to make us end up paying for the table.
