General Placement Test
- Is it your first time going to college?
- Are you a returning or transfer student?
- who has not taken Math and/or English?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions, then the General Placement Test is for you!
How Do I Prepare For The Test?
To prepare for the test, visit or call the Academic Success Center in Room 409, 860.906.5200.
Also, you can pick up a 'New Student Placement Test Preparation Booklet in the Placement Testing Center, Room 220.
What Should I Bring?
- Your student banner ID #
- A picture ID
- A pen or pencil
Scratch paper will be provided.
NO calculators are allowed.
Appointments are not required for the test. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the test. Space is limited; entrance is on a first-served basis on
the days and times below:
