CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course builds on the Introductory
Algebra foundation, deepening the study of some topics, and introducing
new ones. Topics include rational expressions, equations and
inequalities, graphing, relations and functions, radicals and rational
expressions, conics, and systems of equations. This course will include
use of a either a TI-83™ or TI-84™ graphing calculator. Prerequisites:
MAT 094 with grade of C- or better, MAT 095 with grade of C- or better
or Qualifying score on Placement Test; MAT 097 with grade of C- or
better.
