The Capital Scholars Program is a six-week program for incoming students who plan on attending Capital Community College in the Fall semester. This program begins in June and provides students who are under-prepared for the challenges of college with self-confidence, teambuilding skills, academic success, referral services and cultural enrichment throughout their enrollment as a student.
Capital Scholars Program Requirements:
Complete CCC admissions application.
Complete the Academy of Success College Bridge Program Application.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Complete the CCC Placement Test.
Plan to attend CCC in the fall semester.
JUNIOR ACADEMY PROGRAM
A Six Week Program for current High School Juniors who will be entering their Senior Year.
Junior Academy is a year long tuition free college preparatory program designed for students
entering their senior year of high school in Fall. This program begins in June and continues with
enrollment in a college course in both the fall and spring semester. This program provides
students with the opportunity to participate in college visits, trips, mentorship, one on one
tutoring and access into a college environment while attending high school.
Junior Academy Program Requirements:
Complete CCC admissions application.
Complete the Academy of Success College Bridge Program Application. (Select the appropriate program)
Complete the CCC Placement Test.
Plan to attend CCC in the fall semester.
Expenses for the Capital Scholars and Junior Academy Program:
Students earn college credits by taking free summer college courses with the Program.
There are NO expenses for the Summer Courses.
